Members of the Port Coquitlam ESS team were called out today
to help with evacuees registrations in the aftermath of the Sunrise Apartments
building fire in Maple Ridge.
The members provided registration assistance to some of the
106 displaced residents of the block. This included additional lodging at the
Quality Inn in Maple Ridge, food vouchers for the Pantry located adjacent to
the hotel as well as some gift certificates for clothing and other necessities.
